Force user to select suggested option from Google Address autocomplete

I'm having issues with users not obeying instructions to select an option from my address field's autocomplete suggestions.

Is there a way to force users to select an option from the dropdown? Rather than allowing them to just save whatever text they like?

Perhaps some kind of validation? I doubt I'm the first one to think of this, but I can't find anything in the forum about it.

There is no such feature available to restrict users allow users only to select the options from the auto-suggest addresses.
