I created a view with a filter.
On this page: lien caché, the filters show up fine, but if I try this on the front page on the revolution slider, they come up empty. They still work and filter the products displayed below, but they keep turning blank.

Hi Adrian

The link you shared is a 404, but I can see you have a custom search View on the home page.

What's the issue? That the text for the filters doesn't show?

You have a style rule setting their appearance as none. Disabling that reveals the text.

Is that what you meant?

Yes, however I need to be able to use it with appearance-none. Not sure what makes the text disappear.

That directive is supposed to get rid of the browser specific UI and let me create my own. For some reason the text only comes back if you make a selection.

I may have moved the page since I opened the ticket (sorry about that): lien caché
On the dedicated page you will see that it shows up properly despite the -webkit-appearance: none; directive.

On the home page where it is not working you have inline styles added to the select element that include line-height: 0, which are not added to the filter controls on the page where it does work.

Do you know what's adding those? Setting a normal line-height reveals the text.

Hi Nigel, yup that was it. I'm thinking Slider Revolution is causing this problem. Thank you for pointing it out, I was starting to slowly loose my mind over this 😀
