I am trying to:
Turn off the opt-in message that displays on the Plugins page: " Toolset can report to your wp-types.com account which theme and plugins you are using. This information allows us to give you more accurate and faster support. "
This appears to be an opt-in check box, however there is no way to opt-out.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
Dashboard, Plugins

I expected to see:
For an opt-in message, there needs to be a way to opt-out.

Instead, I got:

I can understand Toolset would like to get automated phone-home reporting for plugin configurations, to simplify support.
If you want to comply with standard privacy conventions, then you should provide a real opt-in/opt-out. You are pretending to offer an opt-in that is really a persistent nag.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - that opt-in checkbox is put there for GDPR reasons its better to notify in the Plugins page. However - we have couple of clients reporting this that they do not like to have that message on plugins page.

I will add your voice to our internal ticket and lets see how it goes. Please note that there is no ETA on it.

As soon GDPR acts, Toolset will be ready to comply with it.

The specific setting you refer to will be updated to a Radio "Opt-in/out" option.

You will have to choose, and you will be able to choose exactly as you mention it and GDPR requires.

This will be available within the limits set by GDPR, means, we will deliver this in time to comply with it.
