Suddenly - probably after some recent update - the view (classic) with custom search stopped working as it should. First problem was that the filters didn't show at all anymore. I tried to add two instances on the same page, one with only the search and the other with only the results. Everything looked ok, but filtering didn't work.
Then I deleted all filtering and created them again, I got the filters and results , but with ajax doesn't work. And when I disabled ajax and added submit button, it doesn't show at all in frontend. Also reset button doesn't show. Choosing a filter and hitting enter doesn't work either.
So I really can't make the custom search work in any way.

I think we would need access to your site to be able to see the page with the problem and how it is made.
Let me mark your next reply as private so that we can get log-in credentials from you—you may want to create a temporary admin user for us to use that you can later delete. And be sure to have a current backup of your site.
Can you also confirm the url of where we can see the problem.

The issue was your view was malformed and you should add the custom search filters within [wpv-filter-controls][/wpv-filter-controls] shortcodes in "Search and Paginations" section.

Also - you have checked the checkbox " Disable the wrapping DIV around the View " that I unchecked as if you keep that checkbox checked the custom search and pagination will not work.
You can format your view's search section as required.
