Hello,

I have define some third party fields to be managed by Cred (https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/letting-cred-edit-custom-fields-created-by-other-plugins/).

Now, when I create a Cre, I have no possibility to add them (they do not appear in the right of the form generator).

Can you check and tell me.

Regards
Pat

Hi Pat

I haven't used this for a while, and when I try it now I can't even choose one of my post types or be able to select any custom fields when trying to manage non-Toolset post fields.

See the screenshot.

Are you able to at least do that first step without problems?

Hi Nigel,

Yes, I was able to select the needed fields (just by checking hidden fields).

Then the issue is that nothing is visible when I try to manage the form (in normal and expert mode).
Nevertheless, I can use generic fields to manage them, but I was curious to see how this was going !

Another point is that from time to time, after having created a Cred, I save it and then, I'm getting nothing in the content, only a message saying : you need to chose your postype (but it was already chosen !). And then, no more possibility to add content int he form, even when changing postype !!!

Not sure but to my sense, there are some little issues like that in the current form plugin (see my previous ticket https://toolset.com/forums/topic/how-to-insert-a-user-modify-form/)

Regards
Pat

Hi Pat

I tried again and got this working (with a post type not registered with Types).

I added a custom field on the Manage non-Types Post Fields page. I chose the option to include the field in the form scaffolding.

I then created a new post form.

And there was the field already added to the form editor - see the screenshot.

Can you check again?

Hi Nigel,

Don't know if I was sleeping before but now, I can see these fields !!!
So that's OK for me.
Thanks
Pat
