[Résolu] Creating a view/block to use in an elementor tab widget

Ce fil est résolu. Voici une description du problème et la solution proposée.

Problem:

So I would like to create a block/view with that one and insert it the Elementor template.

Solution:

Toolset Blocks plugin is based on WordPress Blocks editor, it is not recommended to display View block into Elementor template.

In you case, I suggest you setup the view with classic editor, then display view's shortcode into Elementor template, for example:

Dear support,
I want to make use of tabs in a post template. As I could not find this within toolset I installed Elementor Pro and the Elementor Blocks for Gutenberg plugin. I created a template with Elementor and I can pull custom fields following this tutorial: lien caché
But Elementor is a lot more limited in pulling dynamic content than your beautiful and powerful "fields and text" editor. So I would like to create a block/view with that one and insert it the template. I managed to create a view just now, but copying and pasting the code to the text editor of the Elementor tab does not do the trick, it just shows the code also in visual view.
Any ideas how to solve this if possible in an elegant way?
All the best,
Boris

Hello,

Toolset Blocks plugin is based on WordPress Blocks editor, it is not recommended to display View block into Elementor template.

In you case, I suggest you setup the view with classic editor, then display view's shortcode into Elementor template, for example:
1) Dashboard-> Toolset-> Settings-> General:
in section "Editing experience", enable option "Show both the legacy and Blocks interface and let me choose which to use for each item I build"

2) Dashboard-> Toolset-> Views, create a new post view with classic editor

3) In your Elementor template, display above view's shortcode:

Thank you so much for this quick reply. It is a relief to also have the old view editor available. Wonderful.
Have a great day,
Boris
