Hi all,
When trying to edit a WP archive I get the following error:
"The editor has encoutered an unexpected error" -> Copy error
SyntaxError: Expected property name or '}' in JSON at position 1 (line 1 column 2)
at JSON.parse (<anonymous>)
at save (lien caché)
at Qr (lien caché)
at Zr (lien caché)

at co (lien caché)

The page is quite complex, but still works on front end. The only visible issue are that pagination style in incorrect and the Legal documents widget in the footer isn't displayed. I have removed the widget from the theme settings, but nothing changed. I suppose the error happens before the widget is displayed, possibly in pagination. I am not sure if it's an error generated by Toolset or other blocks (mainly Kadence) though.
Any clue ? thanks
Regards
Nicola
Based on the debug information you shared - I see you are using number of third-party plugin. In order to minimize the cause of the issue and to ensure there is no conflict with the plugins/theme you use:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
- Do you see any difference?
Hi Minesh,
Just did what you suggested, deactivated the Theme and then all plugins (but Toolset) one by one, no difference, still get the error.
I also went to the db and found the post, deleted the content completely, but no changes and the page still works ! how is this possible ?
thanks
Can you please share problem URL and admin access details and let me review whats going wrong with your setup.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
Hello Minesh,
For I don't know how long it will take for you to find out what causes the issue, I am thinking to delete the archive and recreate it as normal page. The only issue I see with this is that when the user clicks on a tag it opens a standard archive instead of the custom page. Is there a way to replace the archive with a page for tags or taxonomies?
thanks

I've checked and I found so many JS errors like:
Block validation: Block validation failed for `toolset-views/custom-search-filter`
It seems the archive you created has been somehow corrupted. I suggest you should try to create a new archive. So, delete the existing archive and create a new archive. Before that I suggest you must take full backup of your website and database.
