Backgrounds Applied using WPBakery do not show while Yoast is enabled

I am trying to: Apply background images to a row in WPBakery through Content Templates

I expected to see: A background image on the top row with the blog title and post date using the background image functionality within WPBakery

Instead, I got: No image being loaded on the front end while Yoast SEO is enabled

Additional Notes: After debugging its clear that enabling the Yoast SEO plugin seems to create the fault. When yoast is enabled the background images applied on the content templates through WPBakery's page builder will not load. Once disabled the background will load in on the front end.
