Assigning multiple authors to posts...

We have a site built that uses Toolset for custom user profiles with custom fields that appear in various places such as here: lien caché and one individual blog posts such as this: lien caché

And then again on individual user profile pages such as this: lien caché

These are all linked together on the username.

Users are able to create blog posts as authors but generally, an editor will create a post and then just assign it to an individual user and this works well.

What we'd like to be able to do, is to assign certain posts to multiple authors, in the event they were co-written articles. How can we most easily accomplish this without messing up the system we have in place?

This isn't something that is natively possible, however you can follow the instructions in the article below as it provides a comprehensive tutorial on how to add multiple authors to 1 post.
