[Résolu] Always show empty options in a filter

Ce fil est résolu. Voici une description du problème et la solution proposée.

Problem:

The issue here is that the customer wants to always show values that will produce a No Results Found on their view filters rather than having only values that will produce a result.

Solution:
On your view you should be able to see the custom search settings section.

When you choose the setting "Let me choose individual settings manually", under "Which options to display in the form inputs" choose "Always show all values for inputs"

Hi,

I have a view with a taxonomy checkbox filter.

I need it to always show all the taxonomies, not just the non-empty ones.

Hi Mario,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Assuming that you're using the block view setup then you will find this option under the custom search settings. See Screenshot.

To view the Custom Search section you will need to use the block navigator and select the View Search segment. From there the custom search setting should open on the right sidebar.

Finally under Form Options Disable "Show only filter options that would produce results" and you should now be able to see all your filter values not just the ones that will produce a result.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

Thank you for the quick reply, as always.

I'm unfortunately using good 'ol views, not blocks.

Hi Mario,

No worries the procedure is essentially the same.

On your view you should be able to see the custom search settings section. See Screenshot.

When you choose the setting "Let me choose individual settings manually", under "Which options to display in the form inputs" choose "Always show all values for inputs"

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks,
Shane
