This support ticket is created vor 3 Jahren, 10 Monaten. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

We currently do not have any official documentation or support for such features. You may want to check the Toolset Maps plugin's code to see how it registers the Address field, but we won't be able to offer support for it.

Maybe there is another way that will help you implement your use case without needing to create your own field type. Can you explain what you want to build and for what reasons and I'll see how we can help?
