<b>I am trying to:</b> add Advanced Custom Field plugin's custom fields to a CRED form for front end CPT post submission or editing.

<b>I followed this guide:</b> https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/letting-cred-edit-custom-fields-created-by-other-plugins/

<b>I expected to see:</b> The ability to add ACF fields into CRED post submission or edit forms.

<b>Instead, I got:</b> Can not see custom post types listed in the "Manage non-Toolset Post Fields within CRED" settings page's post type dropdown menu. Only standard templates, pages, posts, and products post types are listed as menu options. (see attached screen shot)

How do select custom posts types within the "Manage non-Toolset Post Fields within CRED" settings page, so I can ultimately to add ACF fields to CRED?

Hello Brent,

unfortunately, because of the way ACF and CRED are made, it is not possible to add custom fields from Advanced Custom Fields plugin to a CRED form for content submission or editing.

Both plugins are not compatible to do so. There is no way for us to solve this.

You can use custom fields created with Advanced Custom Fields to be part of a custom post and to be editable in the backend, but it is not possible to use these fields for CRED forms.

I was hoping to incorporate ACF's repeating image fields within a CRED form as a solution to the issues with Types repeating image fields noted here...

Hello Brent,

I am sorry, but both plugins store values in a form that makes it impossible for CRED to read it.
