Hi there!

I have two clients that would like to show a client map based on a geographic area, not a specific address.

Client A wants to show how may clients they have (with a map pin) without "showing" the actual client names and addresses. Is that possible? If so, what would be the best way to handle that?

Client B wants to show regions, not actual addresses. Is there a way to highlight a region? Maybe a color overlay? For instance, 2 or 3 states would make up 1 region. Would toolset do that?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi there,

None of the functionalities that you have mentioned are available in Toolset. But you can custom code the functionalities, by hooking into the Javascript MAPs API. Please check the details below:

https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/maps/programmatically-change-map-settings/#changing-settings-when-using-google-maps-api

After that, you will have the original Google Maps Javascript API at your disposal to do whatever you want with the map.
