Use dash in the custom post type slug

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I'm trying to format the URL for my custom post type, using the custom URL format.
By default, it would be cpt/slug
Putting / in the box would give /slug
What I'd like to achieve is cpt-slug (so with dash).
When putting cpt- into the text field, the url would become cpt-/slug.
