Update on Content Templates with Elementor?

This support ticket is created vor 3 Jahren, 9 Monaten. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Are you working on being able to use elementor for content template designs? Doing something like a video widget using multiple video types (youtube, vimeo, wistia, etc) is a breeze in elementor, but not in the current content template editor. Am I missing some integration or check box to get this working?

Hello, our priority is improving Toolset's integration with WordPress's block editor as it continues to evolve. Since Elementor's template system and Toolset's template system are inherently incompatible for technical reasons, I am afraid there is no progress to report on integrating Elementor's templates or template builder with Toolset's Content Templates. While Elementor offers a template shortcode to help place Elementor-designed content in other locations on your site, the results of combining that shortcode with Toolset's Content Templates can be unpredictable/unexpected. You're welcome to test and see if this produces the desired results in your case, but the official Toolset answer is these features are incompatible and can produce unexpected results. Display problems resulting from these two features used together are not supported here in the forums.
