There is no option to sort by relevance

This support ticket is created vor 1 year. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: Sort search results by relevance

There is no option to sort by relevance, and this almost makes search results unusable. Do a text search and the most relevant item might be down the list at position 100, the first results might be the least relevant.

Hi,

Welcome to Toolset support. The Search engine used for the text search is exactly what WordPress provides and Toolset does not have anything to do over that.

But if you want to curate the search results to add custom fields and relevant data to have a better control, you are welcome to use the Relevanssi plugin and integrate it with Toolset.
