I use Open Street Map on versteckter Link but this page is loading very slow.
Sometimes looking for a town, the search failes. For instance when I look for Wintelre.
On the singel post the map is working ok. versteckter Link
Wintelre, Eersel, Noord-Brabant, Nederland
Based on thedebug informatin you shared - I can see that you are using latest Toolset plugins.
Just incase to make sure there is no plugin/theme conflict:
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as switch to the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
- Do you see any difference with only Toolset plugins active?
- Are you able to spot any plugin/theme conflict?
If no:
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
That nested View runs its own query, so it loads its own set of markers on every page load, independent of what the visitor searched for. That is very likely the main cause of the slowness on this page, and it also means the markers do not follow your distance filter.
The correct way to put search results on a map is to add the marker inside the loop of the same View that does the filtering:
- Edit the View and open the Loop editor.
- Place the cursor inside <wpv-loop>, next to your <div class="kader"> output.
- Click the Fields and Views button, and in the Toolset Maps section click Marker. Use map_id="overzicht" so it matches your [wpv-map-render].
- Remove the [wpv-view name="show-markers-on-map"] line.
Then each result in the loop produces its own marker, and only the filtered results are drawn. That is both faster and correct.
We set it up this way because I want all markers to appear on the map, but with no display below the map.
Only display the search results on the map below the map after filtering. If we load everything at once, the page becomes too slow.
We have improved Toolset Maps plugin for Address cache mechanism to improve load time and I've installed and activated that Toolset Maps hotfix version on your staging site which we suppose to release very soon but I can see indeed it improved the page speed.
You can check your page by refreshing it couple of times.
