[Gelöst] old Toolset updates aren’t pushing to any of my sites

This support ticket is created vor 10 months, 1 week. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Before you update the Toolset plugins to latest official release version:
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***

For now, please try to update the Toolset Types plugin manually from plugins page and then you can add/update addon Toolset plugins:
- Deactivate and Delete all Toolset plugins from plugins page

- Download Toolset Types plugin from your accounts page: https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

- Upload and activate first Types plugin and then you are free to install and activate all other Toolset plugins using the installer:

Thank you but that still doesn't answer my main question: why am I not receiving notifications that the plugins need updating?

I have to install this OTGS installer? Is that a new thing?

And if I deactivate and delete the plugins that will break the live site I assume?

These are all old sites and I've never had to deal with this before. Just curious about all the changes.

You are using really outdated plugin version that is one of the cause and with that version we had a issue as well.

Once you update all Toolset plugins to latest version you will be able to start receiving update.

I have to install this OTGS installer? Is that a new thing?

No, you just install the Toolset Types plugin version that is it and try to register the Toolset plugin.

Well - if you deactivate and delete the plugin for that time period the site will not work but as soon as you deactivate and delete the plugin right after that you should upload and activate the latest Toolset plugin and you will see everything working as expected.

However - you should try to do this first on your staging site and once you see everything is working as expected follow the same step on your production site.
