Local google fonts

This support ticket is created vor 1 year, 9 months. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to use google font locally. With the Blocksy theme it is very easy, but the fonts are still loaded via Google. Check versteckter Link and kunstindeklas.nl. According to Blocksy support the non-local fonts come via Toolset. How can I solve this? Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

At the moment there is no way to use local or none- google servers to load the Google fonts in Toolset.

We reported this to our development team to see if there can be a permanent solution for this.

If there is an update I will inform you here.

Hi there,

The second-tier support did their best to see if there was a workaround.

Even if the fonts are downloaded locally the Javascript code inside Toolset uses the remote server version.

This matter needs to be checked by the development team. And if it is something that can be handled we will provide that in the upcoming releases of Toolset.
