Hi Nigel,

yesterday I updated all plugins on the site "versteckter Link", which also included the Toolset plugins. Now if a User register for an event in the Toolset form field, the E-Mail message does not show the content of some fields any more. Instead there is the raw code (see attached screen). I took a look and it seems, that conditional fields where the user answered with "Js" (Yes) and you have to input text, the text content does not show in the E-Mail message, instead it shows, as mentioned, the blank code. In the CPT in the bakckend, the data is written correctly into all fields, so it seems a problem with the E-Mail message. Do you know, what causes this issue?

Thanks
Thorsten

PS: Unfortunately I can not upload images, there is always a HTTP error here in the support form down below.

Hi Thorsten

I found the same issue with trying to upload screenshots to the forum this morning, and had to manually clear the cache for it to work.

Regarding your actual issue, when you say it outputs the raw code, you mean it prints the shortcode itself rather than the field value, yes?

This is a know issue and will be fixed in Types 3.2, which is just entering QA testing, and so will hopefully be published next week.

I'll escalate this thread for tracking, and let you know when the update is available.

Hi Nigel,
yes, I do mean the shortcodes.
Now I switched to Chrome. Here the uploading of images works well. After clearing the cache in Firefox browser, it still didn't work there to upload an image.
Ok, in the meantime would it make sense to deactivate the Email messages after form submission?

Thanks
Thorsten

I don't have a patch for you to fix the issue now, so, yes, in the meantime you could de-activate the notification (and possibly create a new one to use temporarily that doesn't use the fields where the shortcode is being printed).

Hi Nigel,
do you have any news when the Update will be checked in for release?

Thanks

Hi Thorsten

I'm just routinely following up, Types 3.2.1 was released while I was absent for a couple of days, hopefully you saw the update notice and upgraded.

If you still see problems with the shortcodes let me know.
