[Gelöst] invalid URL address pointing to the image file

I am trying to: upload an image using image upload field

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: please see screenshot below

I expected to see: i excpected to image field can be input by fill my local domain (hidden link) but the field only accept from localhost

Instead, I got: error message "Please enter a valid URL address pointing to the image file." (please see screenshot below)

pls noted : im using hidden link for my url setting in wordpress

I can see why this is happening, URLs require a domain, and some features—such as certain cookies—won't work without it.

Localhost is a special case.

You have a server setup to work locally without a domain but which is not localhost.

The simplest solution would be to modify your server settings to add any-old domain, e.g. alpha1.host as the base URL.

I could enquire about allowing URLs without domains but as they are not really valid URLs I don't know that that would be accepted.

Are you able to add a domain to your local URL?
