Please see my earlier ticket.

Ideally, please provide a date for when you will release this.

If it's not in the next two weeks I'd be happy to implement a solution such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/acf-to-wp-api/. To that end I'd appreciate your help in speeding my effort along by listing out what API calls if yours will be handy and what can't be done (so I don't waste time). If you need an NDA (Non Disclosure) I'd be happy to sign one.

If you can't fulfill either of these requests please let me know and I'll evaluate switching to ACF. It seems to play nice with Views and Layouts.

Dear chris,

Unfortunately, there isn't any ETA for release date, it is still in our to-do list in open status, I add this thread into it, hope it will raise our developers attention.

Currently, you can manually format the Views result as JSON format, for example this thread:

Hope it help

Thanks, the link you provided is interesting and flexible for reading content, but not scalable. Nor does this technique allow me to update content as the API would. I will see about creating a plugin.

HI Chris.

I stumbled upon your post with interest and was wondering if you had any luck with this, or if you can point me in the direction of anything that might be able to assist with enabling custom fields to be accessible via the REST API?
