Displaying ACF Date Picker and Time Picker fields

This support ticket is created vor 4 Jahren, 11 Monaten. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi there,

I am trying to display the Date Picker and Time Picker fields in a Toolset View, but what is being returned bears no resemblance to the requested return format set in ACF.

The Date Picker is returning — 20200712 (ACF Return Value "d F")
The Time Picker is returning — 10:00:00 (ACF Return Value "g:ia")

The code I have in my Toolset View is:-

[wpv-post-field name='virtual_event_date'] – [wpv-post-field name="virtual_event_start_time"]

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

What if you try to use acf shortcode:

For example:

[acf field="virtual_event_date"]
[acf field="virtual_event_start_time"]

Does that help?

Hi Minesh,

Thank you very much for that. I don’t know why I didn't try those shortcodes.

I did try with:

 [acf field="{$virtual_event_date}"] – [acf field="{$virtual_event_start_time}"]

…but that was obviously only for use within <php>.
