Tell us what you are trying to do? I have a view showing results for a specific post type, filtered by date. I want to have a count of each unique/distinct value of a particular field.

Is there any documentation that you are following? No

Is there a similar example that we can see? No

Hi,

Toolset Views doesn’t have a built-in “DISTINCT count by custom field” control. The only built-in counter is the total result number ([wpv-found-count]).

For more information:

https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/views/views-shortcodes/#wpv-found-count

Creating such a DISTINCT counting is outside of our support scope and needs custom development.

Thanks.

Can you please check if you able to achieve what you required.

Apparently not without custom coding, could you give me a clue about how to achieve this even though it's out of scope?

Can you please share problem URL and admin access details and share all required details about what field you want to use to group by or have distict count and how exactly on what part of the page/post you want to display or what is your expected result.

Once I review your current structure I will be able to guide you in the right direction.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
