Custom Fields Suite plugin uses attachment ID

This support ticket is created vor 3 years, 4 months. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I'm converting our use of Custom Fields Suite to Toolset.

I've selected Toolset to manage the fields.

However, custom fields suite stores its 'file' type field data as attachment_id.

Is there a way of using Toolset to use that value (attachment_id) to retrieve the attachment URL?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Yes - its possible but for that you will have to write the custom shortcode that will return you the attachment URL based on the attachment ID.
