After updating to CRED 1.8, when I save a content from frontend, I get an error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare cred__parent_sort() (previously declared in /wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/embedded/classes/Form_Builder_Helper.php:1377) in /wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/embedded/classes/Form_Builder_Helper.php on line 1377

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

This is abnormal behavior and no user reported this issue yet.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would suggest you to install CRED plugin manually and try to check if that may help you to resolve your issue. You can download the latest plugins from:
=> https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

Yes I already did a clean install of the plugin.
Please help me fix this issue.

I have this exact same issue and exact same error as well after the update.

PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare cred__parent_sort() (previously declared in /home/******/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/embedded/classes/Form_Builder_Helper.php:1377) in /home/l******/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/embedded/classes/Form_Builder_Helper.php on line 1377

Any ideas?

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

@sanny:
When I tried to access wp-admin it's showing following message and page is redirected to some other URL.

Access to this site is restricted.

Could you please resend me access details after checking once.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Could you please confirm your FTP access details. As I can see your URL is:
=> star-up.your-domain.com

But your FTP URL is:
pricing.your-domain.com

Could you please confirm correct FTP path for: star-up.your-domain.com

Hi Sanny,

I've good news for you. Our developers provided path to fix this issue.

I've applied patch on your server. I've replaced following files ]:
=> plugins/cred-frontend-editor/embedded/classes/Form_Builder_Helper.php
=> plugins/cred-frontend-editor/embedded/common/functions.php

I can see that now CRED edit form is working after you save it.

Hi Minesh,

I was about to issue a ticket as well for the same thing but saw there was a patch to the problem.

Can you indicate if this is a bug or a problem with a specific toolset configuration?

And can you also provide a link to the patch for others with the same problem?
