[Geschlossen] Content template in products removed when product is saved

This support ticket is created vor 4 Jahren, 7 Monaten. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Every time I update a product, its content template is removed from it. I then have to manually link/connect the template again ( /wp-admin/admin.php?page=view-templates&arrangeby=usage&usage=single )

How can I solve this problem.

Hi Maximilian,

Thank you for getting in touch.

It seems what is happening here is that you've set the content template to be applied to the entire post type rather than just 1 single post.

You will need to go to your content template and edit it and then uncheck the post type that is selected. Once you've done this update your content template and try creating another product and let me know if the issue still remains.

but I do want the content template to be applied to all "products" (entire post type).
How can I achive that?

Hi Maximilian,

It should still be applied automatically even if you simply update the post. It seems that I miss-interpreted the issue.

Would you mind allowing me to have a look at the site on the backend so that I can have a first hand look on the issue ?

The private fields will be enabled for your next response.
