	Create a view CPT parent with a button link CTP child Commencé par : alberto in: Toolset Professional Support Quick solution available Problem: The issue here is that the user wanted to filter his child view by passing the ID of the parent to the view using a URL parameter. Solution: In order to do this you will need to create a view that will list the child. On that view you then want to add a query filter for the parent. Once the filter is added then you will need to set it to "Post with ID set by the URL parameter " and then note the parameter that it requires. Next you need to build a page to hold this child view. Finally you need to modify the button on your parent listing table so that when you click it, you're taken to the page this the child view. 	Relationship between a WordPress User and a Custom Post Type « Member » Commencé par : alberto in: Toolset Professional Support Quick solution available Problem: I would like to know how to create relationships between a WordPress User and a Custom Post Type post created by Types. Solution: I can think of 3 ways to link a User and a CPT post. 1. Make the User the author of the post. 2. Use a custom field to store a reference to the related item. For example, you can create a custom field on the CPT Member post that holds the related WordPress User's ID. Or you can create a custom field on the WordPress User profile that holds the matching Member's post ID. 3. Use a custom taxonomy that includes a term for each User, and apply that term to each related post. Each option has its own pros and cons, so it often depends on your site requirements.
