v3 Release : Associating Related Posts with Add New & Connect Existing

This support ticket is created vor 6 Jahren, 7 Monaten. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Something else you can pass along to development... The new system for associating related posts is not as ideal as the older system because it assumes you know all the existing relationships and risks the creation of a lot of duplicates.

The new system has two buttons: Add New and Connect Existing.

Ideally, there would be one modal, and the modal would allow you to connect existing or create a new one if an existing item doesn't exist. Without that... the workflow is, unfortunately, more cumbersome and requires many more clicks and potential for duplicates. I have to "Connect Existing..." and if it does not exist, I then "Add New..."
