I am trying to: use toolset blocks instead of the old views. But run into issues. I have been wanting to switch to blocks for years but i keep getting frustrated at these issues.

I expected to see:
1. An option to select a posttype selector for content templates. But i don't see a dropdown. (as a workaround i can do it through the toolset dashboard but it is not ideal)
2. An option to create a view. Instead I can only select existing views. But i can't create views the old way through the toolset -> views menu.
