We bought Toolset "types" to upgrade a WordPress website, we were supposed to do it right after but the hosting company of our customer was not ready at all. Now everybody is ready to do it, so we start the upgrade but your Toolset plugin is not compatible with PHP 8. The only LTS PHP verions available right now are PHP 8.0 and PHP 8.1. versteckter Link
You are saying on your website : "It runs on both old and very new PHP versions" which is not correct and I didn't check the link.
So do you have a beta version of your plugin ?
If yes can you send it to us and add some month to our subscription so we get a chance to have the LTS version, if not can you give us money back.
Our Developers are actually in the process of running checks through our plugins to bring them up to php 8 compatibility.
As you can imagine this can be a lengthy procedure as we have a large codebase. The Good news is once compatibility has been assured then we will post an article regarding the php 8 compatibility.
Unfortunately no betas are available at this time for testing.
Ok this is not a good news ! Now I need to upgrade the plugin to add tempory PHP 8 compatibility !
How can I get money back or extract time to my plan to make sure I get the PHP 8 compatible version when is out ?
I understand the urgency of the situation, we do have our development team working on this and we have requested information from our development team as to when we can see php compatibility.
This is a popular request from our clients so I can assure you that his will get done.
For now there isn't much I can do, also regarding the refund policy you would've been outside of the refund period given that your subscription start on May 27, 2021.
Hi Shane,
Ok I can understand that the refund it's not possible. My goal is not to scam you, it's just to be able to have the php 8.0 version of the plugin.
Can you give me the mail of someone who is able to add some month to the plan or just send me the zip file of the plugin when is ready ?
For your information we are not using the plugin in production right now !
I apologize for bothering you with this but I honestly thought it was compatible.
