I am trying to Utilise toolset types and views for a custom search which automatically updates when selecting any options.

This worked perfectly for a single day (9th Jan '19) and then became very intermittent (10th Jan '19), also completely doesn't work on occasion. Further to that a manual search button wouldn't work either. EDIT: the page in question with the search is /products/

This lead me to test other site functions and plugins:

- Elementor (using PRO) was inaccessible to edit pages.
- Toolset itself couldn't save changes i made to my view.

- I tried to update the theme which didn't change anything. I have attempted removing Astra Pro and swapping to seventeen theme, none of which helped.

- I deactivated all plugins and started to test where it broke, it became apparent that the toolset layouts and forms plugins were key to this.

- I was able to get the search boxes and elementor edits fully functioning/saving etc when CSS Hero is deactivated alongside Toolset layouts and forms plugins.

- I cannot however make simple changes in toolset, for example add a field to a custom field group - When clicking edit button i just get options loading or no screen at all (image 1).

After these tests i do believe it is Toolset causing the issues as the Toolset plugins were the last ones i installed. Just a bit confusing as it all worked together perfectly for the first day. The problems started by themselves, no updates were made etc prior to the site breaking.

Hi there

I can take a look at this. If it seems like there is a compatibility issue involving CSS Hero, I'll test that separately, I would first like to make sure that everything else is working as expected when that is disabled.

In which case, this seems to be the issue:

You have supplied credentials for what looks like a dev site, is it okay if I log in and try setting up test custom fields etc?

Hi Nigel, Thanks for the quick reply.

Please feel free to log in and do any tests/changes you think are neccessary. Ive been banging my head against the wall!

Yes although the site and search functions appear sound when CSS Hero is deactivated, i still feel i cant make basic changes in Toolset. Was made up for a day haha, was really enjoying the plugin. Hopefully you can advise further.

EDIT:
Sorry to complicate it further but ive just tried using the form some more and occasionally it isn't updating the results.

Do you have some kind of security active? I can't visit the admin/login pages.

Not that im aware of. Ive just tried myself though and its going loopy.
It did this yesterday and i thought it might be wordpress that was having an issue. Hopefully be available again shortly.

Still not letting me access any login page (I'm getting a 404), I'll try again later.

Try this link: versteckter Link
After 2 attempts i got in.

Something else that might be of note - when you visit the site whilst logged in, intermittently the admin bar wont display links to toolset / elementor and others.

I can't really try to debug anything on such a site.

Maybe try re-installing WordPress, and if that doesn't help, create a new server instance and export your settings and content to it.

I'll wait to hear when you have a stable, functioning site I can look at.

It wouldn't surprise me if, once you have that, the issue with field groups disappears, but let's see.
