Hi there,

this is a similar issue as in this thread:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/text-search-filter-with-taxonomy-conditions-doesnot-work/

The same problem seemed to occur again after updating.

Basically, the text search is working fine, but the filters are not:
versteckter Link

For example, if you set "Produktkategorien" to "Metallschläuche" and click "Suche bzw. Filter anwenden", the archive should only show "Metallschläuche" (metal conduits). Instead it still shows everything, no filtering took place. Setting the second filter "Sonderanwendungen" doesn't do anything as well.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can you please share admin access details so I can check whats going wrong with the setup.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Can you please check now. I deleted and added the taxonomy filter to your views again.

It seems working to me. Can you please confirm.

In addition to that, I see you are using outdate Toolset plugins on your install. We always recommend running your site with the latest stable release plugin version.

Could you please update ALL Toolset plugins to it's latest officially released version. You can download the latest plugin release from your accounts page:
=> https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

I updated all plugins.
Also I checked the filters but it doesn't work here.
These are my steps:

- Go to versteckter Link
- Choose "Metallschläuche" from Dropdown "Produktkategorien"
- Click button "Suchen bzw. Filter anwenden"

The page loads new but the view doesn't change...

while I was working I was seeing the heavy cache usage. Can you please try to disable the server/browser/plugin cache and check if that help you to resolve your issue.

#2081337

There is now cache plugin installed. I'll talk to the hosting provider und get back to you soon, maybe it's an issue with the server cache...?

Yes - it could be because when I made changes yesterday even I delete one filter still on frontend it was showing all filters. So there must be some cache from server.

I cheked with the server provider. They don't have any server caching active, except the PHP APCU extensio, but that is nothing they can change. Maybe there be another reason for the filters not working? I have the same issue on another dev server. Does Toolset itself or WPML have a cache that might be an issue?

I found one related issue that after the taxonomy or custom field filters are added the you can not edit the filters within the "Query Filter" section.

We are working on it, please hold on for further updates. If required, I will ask for duplicator.

I'm not sure whats going on, if I add only one filter "Product Categories" then it works as expected but as soon as I add the another taxonomy filter "Special Applications" - its broken.

I tried to reproduce the issue with only Toolset plugins active but I can see both taxonomy filters are working on my test install.

I'll require duplicator copy of your site in order to debug this issue further.

Can you please send me duplicator copy of your site:

The Duplicator is installed, but I can't make a full backup, cause the file is too big and I don't have the payed version. Could you download the backup yourself? I remember you did that too last time... Thanks!

Hello there, Minesh won't be available for a couple of days. If you don't mind, I'll continue with you on this ticket.

I took a copy of your website to work on it locally, as I needed to check the issue in a minimal(only Toolset plugins + a default theme) setup before adding complexity to it. I could not reproduce the issue with some search parameters, either with or without the text search, which will use Relevanssi instead of WordPress/Toolset search.
The results that I am getting does not seem to be wrong for me. For example, when I choose "Metallschläuche", I get 9 posts, all of which are assigned that category. If I choose one of the two possible values for "Special Applications", I got all the 9 posts, because they have both terms assigned. When I add a text search, I only get the relevant posts.

So, I got back to your website where all the plugins are activated and I get the same results. The results of the previous query seems to give correct results.

Can you please provide a test example and precise what are the wrong results that you get. Explaining in steps will be very helpful:
1. I go to xxx
2. I do xxx
3. I expect to have xxx
4. Instead, I get xxx
