If I use a Single Field block Toolset I can assign a custom field, but I cannot assign a custom field to a Toolset block image.

Sorry for the delay in response. I took a look at this for you and the post type your view is targetting doesn't have any image fields on it that can be used in the image block. versteckter Link
All that is there are text fields. Unless there is an image on the post you won't be able to select a field.
From other Toolset blocks I can access that field.
Why can't I access that field from the image block.
If from the others I can there is no reason not to be able from the image block.
It is completely illogical.
This is because the Image block is made specifically to function with types Image custom fields.
The Fields block is able to pick up any other custom fields and as you can see from the choices that the Single Field block gives it implies that you can use any custom field.
For the image block its different as the dynamic sources are only from Types custom fields or the Featured image field on your post.
You can display this field manually by using the shortcode that came with this plugin that create this field or you can do this.
[wpv-field name='sdm_upload_thumbnail']
The shortcode of this plugin does not allow viewing only the image.
And the shortcode that you have indicated to me ([wpv-field name='sdm_upload_thumbnail']), as you will see on the page that I have used, does not work.
And I still think that it is a very silly limitation that you have put in your image block, it would not have cost you anything to make it admit any type of field, if that field contains a url to an image it would simply have to have displayed that image, just you have to render the html code to do that. I think that in Toolset you will have done much more complicated things.
And what's amazing is that there is no way to view an image from a field containing an image url.
It is amazing that you have not taken it into account.

You have to remember that this works fine with our Toolset Types custom fields as well as Featured image fields. Custom fields created by third party means usually come with their own custom way of displaying these fields even if it is an image field.
If you were to recreate this custom field in Types you will see that the image starts to show up for selection.
Yes. This works, but it is a pity that Toolset's block image module does not incorporate this functionality, since in this way the characteristics of the image could also be put.
What you have indicated to me serves briefly to show the image, anyway thank you very much for all your help Shane. 🙂
Could I put a ticket to improve this block module?
