I am trying to: install the Framework "Getting Started" demo. WordPress 4.9.6 and current toolset versions. I have included debug info and a screen shot of the plugin page before attempting to install one of the reference sites.
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: Nada ... I've moved on to a different reference site, I can't leave this testing and learning cycle resting while I wait for a response -- you can see what you need to see from the screenshots. The site is versteckter Link.
Permissions are www-data.nogroup for all the wordpress content except wp-content, and all of these are www-data.www-data
I expected to see: a working website
Instead, I got: a database error "Error establishing a database connection" obviously. See images - only two tables created.
I started with a new install (cleared the database and reinstalled WP), activated the types plugin and the framework installer plugin. By the way, I successfully installed the Magazine (My Company) reference site, but the widget also keeps spinning on the "Importing and process" stage. I also tried the Listing reference site and it hung at the "importing and processing" stage as well (overnight) and didn't complete the process.
The screenshot of the two-table database structure is after about 45 minutes, so I'm not being too aggressive in determining the error. I did this twice with the same results.
No, this didn't solve the issue at all. I also have a test machine running PHP7 and all of the reference sites are marked "This demo site cannot be installed. Please ensure that you meet all plugin and site requirements before installing a demo site." and all the plugins/themes are installed. There are no "site requirements" on the link, such as recommended memory or upload limits, or execution time settings, which would be helpful, so I don't know where to look for the problem.
That would be fine, but I need to resolve this permanently so I can use the processes I've paid for anytime and on any site without asking for help. I've also uploaded a screenshot that shows that all required plugins are available for one of the reference sites (the themes are available, too, and the themes directory is writeable), yet I get this "The demo site cannot be installed" without any helpful information about what failed or why. I would also like backup copies of the listing, realestate, classified...maybe all the reference sites, since none of them seem to finish configuring.
1) I feel like an idiot. There was a message in the upper left hand corner that the server was missing php7.0 ZipArchive. Once I added that, the appropriate reference sites are installable. In fact, I was able to install the Brochure site, which makes me very happy. As I've commented before, this is NOT listed in your site requirements. you should have a list of everything other than plugins, such as this library, suggested memory and execution time limits, etc.
2) However, when I tried to install the tutorial AND the listing site, I get "Configuration error" during configuration, and the site breaks. I don't know where to look for what the configuration error might be.
(Still need help with this one)
3) The Brochure reference site installs without error, as does the Magazine site (but no pictures) ... when I access the Dashboard, I get this error until I deactivate the framework installer:
