Tell us what you are trying to do? I have created a Custom Field for Uploading Image and also some taxonomies.. As an Admin, I can of course see and access all of it.. But when I asked my colleague with EDITOR role to edit an existing itelm or add a new item, the taxonomy part is visible but the complete Field Group is not visible at all.. I logged in as another user with EDITOR role and double checked the permission for the Custom Post.. Editor has all the required permission (screenshot attached).. but she can't access the Field nor the group.. please advise.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?versteckter Link

Hi Alim,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I would recommend checking the permissions on the field group.

Go to Toolset -> Access Control -> Types Fields and check the permissions on your field group to see if your user roles have access to the fields themselves.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Alim,

I checked the site for you and I didn't find any custom field groups on the site.

Hi Shane..:-)..

Sorry I don't think I was clear about the fact that it's a multisite installation.. I think I didn't mention that the custom post was in the subsite.. but anwyays here are the details..:-)..

The link you sent was from the Main Site of the multisite installation.. the issue I am having is in the sub-site .. here's the link

the Custom Field in question is Product Details.. (Screenshot Attached)

I will try and be up tonight as I don't want to lose the weekend, if possible.. so if you would find some solution today it would be really helpful.

Have a nice day..:-)..

Hi Alim,

I took a look through and it seems the issue is being caused by our Access plugin but the user role as permissions to access the field.

Would you mind temporarily disabling all the non-toolset plugins on this site and see if the issue remains?

It could be that another plugin is preventing the access preferences from being applied, as once a user has permissions to access the fields they will show up.

I did a quick test on a fresh install and for me the issue was not here. Hopefully we can get this one resolved for you in a timely fashion.

Thanks,
Shane

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!

Hi Shane

Thanks for the update..:-)..

I found the guilty plugin.. it was 'Subscribe By Email' from WPMU and I've deleted it as it was really not being used.

Thanks again for the support

Regards,
Alim
