I've been asked to modify an existing site that uses Toolset custom fields and CRED forms. Several fields use Radio field types, and they would like me to change them to use Select menus instead. Is there a way I can display a Radio field as a Select menu on the CRED front end? The only posts I saw on this topic were very old, and I would like to avoid completely replacing the field, so I don't have to update all the references to that field in every View throughout the site. Thanks!

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Unfortunately, there is no way to display a radio field as a dropdown on a Toolset form. I run a small test to check if a generic field can work for this case, but it does not.
As a workaround, I'll suggest building the dropdown on the frontend using Javascript, hiding the radio buttons, and then syncing the value of the dropdown to the radio buttons. Does it make sense?

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
