Creating a hover effect displaying custom field value over images

I'd like to create a hover effect over the images on this page: versteckter Link

The hover effect should slightly darken the image and display the value from the user field: wpcf-aceer-title

Is there a similar example that we can see? Something like the attached screenshot but with he title centered vertically

This would take some custom css code to achieve. What you can do is to have a look at the examples in the link below and adapt the example that you like to your exact case in views.
