Problem: I would like to reuse the same View in multiple situations with different settings. In the documentation I see a dialog with options for overriding some settings, but I cannot find it on my site. Solution: The options dialog appears when you insert a View using the Fields and Views button above any editor panel. |

How to add post taxonomy field to existing taxonomy

Problem: I now want to import Complaint custom posts with CSV importer, but when I try to import them an extra top level (parent) taxonomy is created instead of it being inserted into the existing taxonomy structure. Can you tell me how to add the taxonomy to the existing structure without creating a new taxonomy. Solution: That is the expected result. When the current post isn't assigned with child term "Heart pain", it display as "sub-category under Cardiovascular" When the post is assigned with child term "Heart pain", it display as "at the top above", this is wordpress limitation, you can simply try this: Create a new post, assign it with child term "Heart pain", save the post, you will see the same result as your screenshot: https://cdn.toolset.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/670517-system_state_category_list2.JPG Relevant Documentation: |

Problem: I've been unable to import using the free CSV Importer - which has always worked in the past - and I don't want to spend $100 for Ultimate CSV Importer, so I'm looking for an alternative solution and thought if I could see an example xml file I may be able to go that route. Solution: The solution from client: For importing Custom fields in WordPress CSV importer is to use CSV files from Google Spreadsheet, and no longer need the XML solution. Relevant Documentation: |
