Problem: I would like to use jQuery Collapse for showing and hiding repeatable field groups (RFG) in a View, but the code isn't working when I have more than one RFG.
Solution: Use CSS classes instead of IDs as your jQuery targets.
Problem:
I needed to restrict access to my CPT based on User roles, but it didn't work as I expected. I tried to bring the native WordPress "Post" type under Access control, which helped to solve the problem, is it a bug?
Solution:
This is actually not a bug, it works like this because some of access permissions are inherited from built-in WordPress permissions and capabilities. So we can say this is by design and how the Access plugin handles user role permissions.
Problem: I have a View that shows a list of posts with a CRED form in each result. When I submit one CRED form, the other forms all show the confirmation "Post Saved" message.
Solution: The confirmation is only intended to work on a page with one form. We will submit a feature request to extend the use of this message so that it can be shown effectively on a page with multiple forms.
Problem:
A CRED form includes a selector to choose a related parent post. This field lists *all* such parent posts. Client wants it to only show parent posts authored by the current user (i.e. their own parent posts).
Solution:
This thread describes a custom code solution, but this is a common enough request and this feature will be added natively in an upcoming release and it is recommended to wait for that.
Problem: I see multiple calls to admin-ajax.php on my site and this seems to be increasing the time to "fully loaded" in my website performance tests.
Solution: "Fully loaded" isn't very good at determining which items are render blocking and which items are asynchronous in a waterfall view. In this case, the calls to admin-ajax.php are not render blocking and do not affect the time it takes for your site to become painted and interactive. These calls are used to help preload images and content for slider Views. You can disable preloading in the slider Views' Advanced options, but the User experience may be negatively affected.
