Hi,
In order for the DIVI Toolset to work correctly, you must disable "The Latest Divi Builder Experience" and enable "Classic Editor". The problem is that if this is done, the new dynamic features of DIVI no longer work.

This is a very serious problem.

Hello,
Yes, it is expected result, the dynamic value feature requires Divi builder, so you see those message.
There are some known compatibility issue with new Divi builder, see our blog post:
https://toolset.com/2019/10/toolset-and-divi-4-issues/
For now, we recommend to our clients to stay with Divi 3 on sites that have both Divi and Toolset.
Hi Luo,
Yes. I know, but this solution is not possible with this website, since it is using all the new features of DIVI 4. Now it is not possible to use DIVI 3 again on this website, so I need a solution for this problem.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
As you can see, there isn't any existed solution for it, if you disable the Divi builder, then you can not use new dynamic features of DIVI, and you will see those message:
This field contains a dynamic value which requires the Visual Builder.
As a workaround, you can add another new "Text Module" to replace the old problem one, and display the custom field shortcode directly, see our document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/customizing-sites-using-php/functions/
If you need assistance for it, please provide details for these:
Which custom field you want to display in that "Text Module", I can try to setup a demo for you. Thanks
Luo,
In that DIVI module the post title is shown.
Do you have any shortcode to show the post title?
The good thing about using DIVI modules and their dynamic capabilities is that they allow a customization of all their appearance that does not allow it to simply put a shortcode in a DIVI text module.
Since you have focused all your efforts on Toolset Blocks you have completely abandoned the improvements for DIVI. This is a very bad thing. Very bad thing.
I would like to make a claim in this regard to your management team. 🙁
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
For post title, you can try shortcode [wpv-post-title], see our document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views-shortcodes/#wpv-post-title
Since you are using Divi theme, you can display the post title with below shortcode:
And you can add a feature request for using new Divi builder with Toolset plugins here:

Above form will submit directly to our support manager.
Thank you very much for everything Luo, please scale this also to a 2nd tier. Thanks.
OK, I am checking it in our to-do list, will update here if there if there is any news.
I have checked it in our to-do list, but can not find a exact related item for it, since you are asking for escalating this issue, according to our workflow, I need to provide a duplicator package with the same problem, please provide a copy of your theme files(the latest version of Divi theme) in below private message box(you can put it into your own google drive disk, and share the link), so I can make a duplicator package in a fresh wordpress installation. thanks
Luo,
I am trying to replicate the problem, but since I have installed many versions of DIVI since we talked about this problem, I cannot reproduce it now.
Regards,
I suggest you try it in a fresh wordpress intallation + the latest version of Toolset plugins + Divi theme, check if the problem still persists, then provide the duplicator package.
If the problem is fixed, then you can upgrade all Toolset plugins + Divi theme to the latest version in your live production website.
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
