types licence update question

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I have developed some wordpress CMD with types in the past. they are not websites, but museum installations based on other systems.

I would now like to work with wp and types again and use the rest of api 2.

now the question arises whether i have to renew the license of the type plugin every year, although the wordpress installation will not be updated. the system runs in a local context, content is changed, but the CMS setup and structure remain the same.

it is then sufficient to purchase a license once

Answering your question:

I’m afraid that yes. If you check our plans page: https://toolset.com/buy/, you will see that every type of license has a value for the account renewal per year. If you choose to not renew it, then you won’t be able to receive our support anymore, nor the updated Toolset versions.
