With your archive - Can you please try to setup the Custom Search section correctly and select what fields you want to add as custom search:

I see you added the Address type field with the following custom field group:

Here is the Doc that you should follow:
=> https://toolset.com/course-lesson/installing-toolset-maps-and-adding-address-fields/
=> https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-maps-api-key/
Once you register the Google map API key:
=> https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-maps-api-key/#entering-the-maps-api-keys
you will see the address field will be functioning with the address field in the backend when you add/edit post:

However - I hope you want to use google address or you just want to use the plain text address field without using Maps?
Just to make sure we understand each other 😉
I want to let website visitors search in the database.
They should be able to find companies in their area based on address or postal code.
Can I implement this using Google Maps?
Yes, this can be implemented using the Google Maps API. Google Maps provides features for geocoding (converting addresses to coordinates) and calculating distances, which would allow you to search for companies within a specific radius of a given location.
Or do I just implement Google maps for the use of google maps.... ?
Best regards (and thank you so much for your help).

Well - you can check the google map platform or contact the support and check for pricing:

As you can see with our Docs - Toolset uses Maps JavaScript API, Geocoding API, and Places API.:
