User form Country List dropdown

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi there,

I would like to add a country list dropdown to a user registration form. Adding them manually to a user field group seems complicated and burdensome. I've read several support tickets, mostly older ones, but iI couldn't find a straightforward solution.

What is the easiest way to do it?

Hi there,

Unfortunately, there is no alternative to manually entering the options.

There are no API functions that would help to generate such a dropdown list programmatically, but once you have set up such a field on one site you would be able to export the Types settings and import them to another site.

You will need to add the country list manually to a user field.
