Toolset Developer API?

This support ticket is created 3 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello. I am a theme developer and wish to bundle Toolset functionality with my theme. Does the WP Toolset Developer API still exist? If so, how do I request a developer API key? Thank you

Sorry but that functionality was discontinued, it generated very little interest from clients but required a lot of effort to maintain.

How do theme developers bundle Toolset functionality with their themes? Is that no longer possible?

That's correct, I'm afraid.

That was an experiment that didn't work, and the expectation is that you create websites for clients include Toolset plugins and functionality which you manage, there isn't a model whereby you distribute Toolset plugins with a theme that you sell on to others.
