I have a view/search with some shortcodes to format the fields into 2 columns.
When I change one of the search parameters the view is updated to the new results, but the shortcodes don't render (you see the actual shortcode on the page)
I've played with various settings on the "View" page in the section:
ToolSet > Edit View > "When to update the Views results"
