Switching licences

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi there - I have inherited a site with Toolset installed - the licence was associated with the developer. Now I want to switch licences to my own - via this account. I can see that I need to unregister the site and the presuably reregister with this site key. BUT I just want to check that if I do this all my current Toolset settings (post types, views etc) will be preserved? Can you advise? Thanks!

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Yes - exacly. You can unregister the site key and create a new site key with your account and try to register site with newly created site key with your account.

In any case - we suggest to take full backup of your site.

There will be no loss of your content.
