[Resuelto] select2 dropdown doesn't work on the frontend

I am trying to:
Use select2 dropdown on the frontend (Post form)

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see:
A working dropdown
Instead, I got:
'The results could not be loaded'

Do you mean that on Edit post form - the select2 is not working?

If yes, but in my case I can see it working. I also see a jQuery error on browser's console:

Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).inputmask is not a function

My bad, i forgot the most important bit, there's a custom user role 'opleider'; if that one is logged in it doesn't work; it works on admin accounts.
