Hello,

Can I SAFELY rename the singular and plural title of an intermediary post?
Re-titling them won't mess anything up, right? (I know I can't rename the slug, and I assume after re-titling the post the slug will stay the same which is fine)

Thanks!
Scott.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

Your understanding is correct and it is safe to change the singular and plural title of an intermediary post.

As long as the post type's slug is not changed (which is not editable), your existing associations should be fine.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Waqar,

Thank you.
I have an unrelated question if it's OK. I use access shortcodes to hide content on the front so only logged in users can see certain things. I don't use the 'Managed by Access' for CPT's as I've had problems with it and the shortcodes work fine.
So my question:
I have a CPT "artist". My content template for it uses the access shortcodes to display fields like "phone" or "email" to only the logged in user (not using the 'Managed by Access' for CPT's). To a guest the page is blank, as it should be.
So...the data (phone, email fields) is never exposed to the internet, correct? In other words, there's no direct link to an artist field someone could get to, correct?

Thanks!
Scott.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for writing back and sorry about the delay in getting back on this.

I've split the question about the Access plugin's shortcode into a separate ticket and will reply to it shortly.

You're welcome to mark this ticket as resolved and feel free to start a new ticket for each new question or concern.

regards,
Waqar
