I'm trying to get a front-end submission working for creating posts and unfortunately it's not giving it the layout assigned for posts. Only creating posts from the back-end automatically assigns the correct layout. Now that I've been digging deeper, I saw some notes that layouts doesn't work fully with non-custom posts? I read your article on "integrating with your theme" but didn't find it too helpful. Is there a way to use custom code to automatically associate the new posts with the correct layout? I'm also thinking of just migrating all my posts to a new custom post type to gain full functionality, something I probably should have done from the start.

I just figured out that this issue was being caused by a plugin conflict with Frontier Forms. I've been trying to find a way to allow my users to insert images into posts from the front-end. Sorry to bother you with this.
